Satellite television allows to get TV programs in HD quality using a special tuner. The definition of the broadcasted satellite channels in Full HD format exceeds the standard quality of TV channels four-fold. Similarly, those who own LCD or plasma television sets will have a pleasant surprise as the image is broadcasted in the format 16:9 now. So the TV channels broadcasted in HD quality do not have such disadvantages as «snow», disappearing or distorting picture.
Information: HDTV (High Definition TV) is the latest format of the TV broadcasting. Ordinary television broadcasts in the format 720 per 576 points, and HDTV television allows to watch programs with definition of 1920 per 1080 points.

When you buy a satellite tuner with a hard disk, you can press one button and record the programs which you cannot watch in real time (a tuner allows you to record up to 150 hours of programs or films)
